Just a couple quick comments:

What people have already said, especially Suzanne. The spaces in between sections with the red areas as well don't help either and are quite a bit distracting.

The "View Our Link Exchanges:" is very hard to read with it's yellow on white

It suffers from designer ego. Way too much interface, totally overwhelming the content -- the very content that is the stated purpose of the place.

its well designed, but as I surfed thru, I couldn't help but feel like I was straining my eyes. The yellow and red in particular are the most offensive (i don't mean that in a bad way btw) So I dunno, try some eye-friendlier color schemes Nice site overall! G'job!

looks a little too space age, I like the silver but the red seems a bit much. What kind of logo is that, looks like a bunch of bannanas. You've got more than 15 forums too, try to stay under 10(if possible)
