If that's all you want then the easiest is a laplink cable ... you can get one at any Radio Shack or Computer supply store. Also ... if your Lap top has Wireless built in you can get a USB Wireless unit (Linksys one works well) for the Desk top Unit and just do a peer to peer ...

I want to type up things on my laptop then post them on the internet so it would only be to transfer data from the laptop to the p.c.
