I actually like the ones that Vbulletin, this forum software has. Click on the Thread Tools at the top of this thread for an example. I like them because they stay open when clicked on.

You have 3 chioces. 1) You can find a free one somewhere and it would be extreamly slow and not over used. Not to mention I would laugh at you. 2) Write your own script. Sony's is vary impressive. Even if you do write you own scripts it will be hard to top. 3) pay someone. People like me would gladly write you the most impressive menu ever if you dish out a few bucks. A menu would not be that expensive considering you can get free ones.

Don't forget to replicate the links in plain text somewhere on the page for those people who surf wth JavaScript switched off and for SEO.

ALA to the rescue: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/
This article talks you through doing a drop-down menu and is - of course - cross-browser compatible.

Hope this helps!

There are lots of them out there in addition to the one eskater linked. Make sure you test it in a lot of different browsers first. A lot of them only work in IE and Netscape.
