If someone is giving something to everyone for free, that should tell you something! A domain name is not a $25 value, it's a $7 value. Space is the most looked for item but one of the most meaningless as space is very cheap. It's bandwidth that's the killer.

The limitations of subdomains and such are mostly for building levels of payment. It doesn't cost more to have 10 subdomains as to have 500 subdomains. It doesn't cost anything because the user can set it easily themselves and it's just a matter of the server knowing where to point the browser. So these are meaningless restrictions.

You get more space and more bandwidth with one, but more freedom with another.

Personally Xanthion.com would be my choice because CPanel is so solid and puts the controls in my hands, not at the host level. Even with less space/bandwith for the same amount of $$, the set up is more in my preference. If you're going to have huge files and huge data transfer, then perhaps Gisol would be the route to go.

I have 600M on my business site hosting (for less per month, lol) and I have given away chunks of it to associates and I still have lots of room and bandwidth to spare. You need to look at your usage needs.

The "extras" on both sides appear to be the same.

I would not use them because I don't use host that don't have a 1800#. I believe that only professional companies have them, I think. You might find them unreliable. A lot of people set up there own hosting company and forget about it after a year or so. My advice is to use this http://www.gisol.com/hosting/index-unix.php
