I get a horizontal scrollbar at 800*600 because the image is 800px and the max you can have is 750 or 770 if the page has 0 margins, so your cell sizes will need to be changed as well. You also need to put height & width in for your images and don't put px next to the size for the tables.

The site is still very ameteurish looking not at all helped by the page transitions, the table border and the centered navigation. Work on your coding, make sure it validates and learn more about css then come back to it and work on the design aspect.

A bit bland, and I personally wouldn't use Times New Roman as a navigation font. Good start, it can only get better.

OK, could you guys review my site again? I got a domain name--www.xwebnet.com. and I learned html and coded it with note pad. also, does it download fast on a dialup?

Hang in there. Years ago, when I first wanted to design pages, I didn't know ANYTHING about them. I was even lost by the most basic HTML.

Now, I can write all of my HTML by hand, design my own graphics, and write complicated PHP scripts and SQL queries. It didn't cost me much money, just an investment in a couple of good books and a lot time (not to mention trial and error).

For my money, a good HTML book is much better than a WYSIWYG editor in the beginning. You really need to understand HTML to a certain degree, because the editors don't always give you what you're looking for. For about $50, you can get a top notch book, practice in an editor like Notepad or JED, and you will be well on your way. Once you get down the basics, there are a lot of sites on the web that can help you with layout and design examples.

there are plenty of other free editors out there if you must use one (as mentioned aviod frontpage), one comes to mind is Arachnophilia, believe its free, have never used it myself.
If your knowledge of HTML is limited I wouldn't recommend doing it in PHP, as PHP uses HTML to display the contents (in most cases) and any script you do find will have to be changed to suit your needs. hotscripts.com is a great place if you ever did want any among others (google is your friend )

OK, I was about to say that the Doctype comes before anything else but I see that its computer generated so I'll leave it at that...

I like the rollovers that you have used for the navigation. However, try to preload the images that you have on hover. E.g. guiover.gif. If you don't know how to preload images, you can find it on my site.

The site itself doesn't look to me like it has had any "design" done to it. Looks very typical - navigation on the left, content on the right.

Content isn't displayed effectivly either. Firstly choose another font or style it it better - maybe justify the text.

A good start, lots of room for improvement - which is good.
