Don't forget about defragging. My preference is Diskeeper because you can let it run in the background automatically, and it doesn't restart when it encounters open programs/files (what I hate most about the built-in defragger).

And check to see what programs are loaded in StartUp -- you might not need them all. (I can't remember if that was already posted...)

Humm! "church!" I didn't know that one that i know are more names of icons that are found in a church like "calisse" or "osti" but since i'm a very well educated person i don't know them all

heh, that would be amusing. the only ones I remember are "church!" and "pig!" which just don't translate well into English. Oh, and, of course, "merde!" but that's almost not swearing these days.

I used Registry Healer version 3.4.2 build 61 Registered Version and found that a definite improvement in overall performance was detectable. Also the Critical thing ... No Crashes of any of my software after having used it several times. (Win XP Professional w/SP1) Well I should say no more than the Usual XP crashes ...

Heh, I was born and raised in Montréal until I was 7.5 years old. I lost most of my language when I moved to Toronto, and retain only the most rudimentary spoken French (but a great deal more written French learned in later years).

It's a warm homey feeling to "hear" your accent. I still occasionally dream in French.

Regcleaner will improve performance if there are dll that are register and of no use anymore usualy this is very usefull for programmer that build and test dll's on his machine.
