Thanks busy, since I posted this message I have managed to sort out the problem, along the lines of what you suggested, I have moved the files around, thanks again I don't know what I'd do without sites like this

you've uploaded it all into a folder called index, you need to move all your stuff out of that folder.

or another way, just add a index.html into the base directory (where everything should be) and link it to the index/index.html
