&lt;p&gt;  afaik, druagord is correct. There is but one &#039;type&#039; of cookie. The main differences between them are the techniques used to write/read the values -- for example:  name-value pair and values without names. &lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I might be wrong but there are not many kind of cookies there many cookies parameters(expiration, values,etc..) but thats to the programmer who use them to decide.&lt;/p&gt;
