Disabling right-click is not a good idea full stop.

Surfers (like myself) like to use the right mouse button, its much easier...

yeah even without the browsers view source you can just:
wget http://www.thesite.com/thefile.html

Also the simple solution to right click disabled websites is disabling javascript.

The client side code will always be visible to the client the reason is quite simple the browser need to see it in order to display it. Someone could eventually write a browser that as no view source button but then again thats not really hiding it.

About 4 years ago I looked into it and came to the same conclusion. I was building a web site for WebTV users, since at the time, to play any games, every move had to make a call to the server. So I wrote a few games strictly in javascript, but wanted to protect the code.

The best I could do was have a script to make sure it was a webtv browser calling the .js file, and even then the emulator (is that thing still around?) would let you get it on a PC.

I just tested it, and you can still view source, so there is absolutly nothin you can do to hide client side source, my conclusion.

sorry

but right now I am kinda hating life, I changed my email address the other day, and forgot my password Also while browsing warez sites, (just for fun) I acidentally downloaded a bad reg file, that frooze my computer and made me have to reboot, and when I did the stupid reg. file, locked my browser and kept me from entering my windows program, I tried going into safe mode and deleting crap, but it didnt work, so I just reformmated my disk, and started a new. So that means, I had to re-setup everything, including my ISP connection, and when you do that OutLook wants you to log in to get your mail, well me not remembering my email pass. I can't do that, and it being the day beofre thanksgiving my ISP base is closed, and my site is inactive since it was threw them, and my password is what I used to log in to setup a website with them and now I can't even do that, so it's a no go for atleast now. But I'm telling you, it would be a huge waiste of time anyway, because all you would have to do is hit ctrl+U if you have firebird, and that views source, so you would simply laugh at my ignorance, and shame me for displaying an obvious lack of knowledge. I shouldnt have even posted it, and I wouldnt have if I knew there were like a million ways to view source.

Although, my plan has shifted, and I am developing an encryption program, which will have no ryhme or reason to it, and would take a long time to decrypt by hand, (I suspect), it wont hide my code, or keep people from viewing it, but it will keep others from wanting to take it I suppose, since you couldnt add to it or take away from it, youd be like huh? Is this foreal, haha, well probably not, but you would atleast be like this is not worth my time to decrypt, if I could onyl have someone answer my question I posted today on how to make my script omit % and $# and letters in the array, I would be on my way with it, but I am stumped and remain stagnet, till someone comes along and helps,

till then

code one
