I generally use a few things to find domain names...
I first think up all the words I would use to describe what I'm trying to startup - come up with a list of decent words clients would think of when thinking of the loan business.
I then head over to overture.com and use there keyword lookup tool to get even more related words, as well as dictionary.com to use the thesaurus to find yet even more words.
Then I put the words together in meaningful fashions, head over to godaddy.com and find out which ones are available. Seems to work 99% of the time...

heres an idea... use your imagination and the whois lookup to check availablity... its really not complicated.
