The long defunct ImageStyler is great for rollovers and I'll probably keep using that app until ImageReady wins me over.

Oh and yes - I found the paint bucket. Thanks

You have a fair point there, it can be a little long-winded and if you need to change anything it becomes a complete nightmare! Image Ready is easier when you get the hang of it - not a reflection on anyones intelligence, just the way ImageReady completely redefines the methodology of doing rollovers

You can just hold your mouse down and it'll pop-up so you can move over to select it.

I actually find Image Ready to be really annoying to work with. It's almost not worth the effort to define slices and name them and make sure they get exported properly. That's why I switched our standard menu to CSS - looks almost as good and a heck of a lot easier to work with.

Quote: Fill is underneath the gradient tool

In other words, right-click on the gradient tool and select the paint bucket from the popup list

As for rollovers, it takes a while to get used to doing these - you'll find ImageReady a Godsend when doing menus (and it generates quite decent JavaScript as well), but don't be fooled...It can't generate full web pages - even though it pretends to (unless you want your pages to be completely made-up of JPEG's ).

I have a question, i have photoshop7 and psp8, what is the best way to reduce an image in size, and still retain the quality or focus?
I am getting blurry pictures sometimes.

I'll let someone else give you a better rundown on PS 7 - I've been using it more for photos & collage graphics lately so my application if it might be quite different from what you're doing.
