Hi,
I spent a lot of time on your site and after I got away from the black background, I found the page well laid out. It may be a bit too much though, the pictures make it slow loading. Some of the products look cool. Interested in selling coffe club memberships??
The index on the left is a bit too long and there is a lot of empty space in different parts of the site.
Be sure and submit to webworldindex.com though and check out our ad packages.

Hi, I can tell that you've spent a lot of time on your site, and except for a few things it looks pretty good.

I agree with the other comments about the background. It just doesn't fit for a professional shopping site. I would also remove the animated gifs, and the scrolling text. At least the ones you have on the site now. They seem a little distracting.

I like that on some of the pages you have thumbnails of the product, but I notice that they haven't been optimized as thumbnails. What I mean is that for example, image KT17.gif is showing on your "cookware" page as 75 x 75 and when I opened up the image it is actually 400 x 261. This puts the burden on the clients machine to resize the image, and slows the page down considerably. The reason is, is because the image is still 400 x 261 even if it appears on the browser as 75 x 75. Did that make sense? I hope so. One of the easiest ways to make thumbnails with multilple images is with PhotoShop. If you have it, try using the "automate" function.

Your site shows a lot of promise, good luck with it.

I definitely agree with Sonia that a white background would be much more professional looking and that the links are too long. The site right now doesn't really have a design to it, everything looks like it's been thrown on the page. IMO you need a better logo as that's what gives the site branding - just find a unique font that sums up your business and definietly go for some colour rather than just black & white.

Have a look at other shopping sites to get some ideas for design/layouts and also IMO all pictures of the products should be the same size and quality.

You obviously have a good start but to look professional you need some tweeking. Good luck with the site

Are you wanting to redesign the site? If so, I think I would go with a white background instead of the black. Black for a business just doesn't seem inviting to me.

You have a boat load of links on the left. Would you consider narrowing those down a bit? For example:

Shipping Fee's, Mail Orders and About Dropshipping could be "Shipping".

Wholesale Novelties, Novelty Bills and Novelty Lighters could be "Novelty Items".

Pocket Knives and Pocket Knives could be "Knives".

Grandfather Clocks and Wall Clocks could be "Clocks".

And then for example when you click on the link, "Clocks", you are taken to a page with information on both or a page with a link to both and some text information to describe your items. Just a thought. I think the link list that you have now is too long.

You should have a Home link near the top somewhere and also it would be a good idea to make your logo a clickable link to the home page.

Good luck and welcome to the forums.
