1, It is considered theft
2, It's quite hard to control anything on the internet
3, It's impossible to shut down a site permanantly.

Busy: You could just do a print screen

Bottom line, if you don't want people stealing your images or content. Don't put it up.

another way is get an image and cut it into 4 or so bits, place it inside a table or whatever and if it loads fast enough no one will know its seperate images and only steal a section of it, it can be rejoined but for some people it's to much hassle or a case of not knowing how to.
watermark is far less work thou

I was thinking of using water marks, I didn't do it but it looks like this will be the only solution.
It is sad people have no respect for other's hard work, it should be Internet crime and consider as a theft.
I hope in near future something will be done about it, is time to punish someone who just simply steals materials from other websites and their websites should be shut down permanently.

This, unfortunately, is the main downfall of the internet! The isn't much you can do as there are as many workarounds as there are way to 'try' and stop people taking your images. No right click doesn't work as you can drag the images off the page onto another browser window and copy them from there or viewing source code will give the address of the image.

IMO the only way to do it is to add a watermark as Renegade said.

Only way would be to put a water mark on a not so obviouse place and/or where if you tried to remove/edit it out it would ruin the picture.

This question is asked quite often around here, try doing a search and see what you find
