&lt;p&gt;but as mentioned php files are produced after being served, so unless you can ftp the .php file your just seeing the results.&lt;br /&gt;
if the [popup] had a end tag it could of been xml&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Without having knowledge of the file, your friends computer, or his actions it is impossible to really know what any of this means. We dont even know the symptoms.  Also. How do you know it was a php file.  Php files only execute under a server call like in apache, not if you just open them in notepad.&lt;br /&gt;
