well, to answer your question, if you want to do them all in one page, use Flash, as it loads within itself

Fair warning that the more general your topic, the harder it is to get anywhere with the search engines (who quite properly prefer content to be specific).

I would recommend you consider breaking the site into discrete sections and marketing those separately.

Instead of trying to build a site that only seems good in order to entice search engines to rank you higher, try to create a site that actually is good, so that you'll get the search engine ranking, as well as readers that will actually stick around and possibly bookmark your site. Focus on high-quality content and a logical organization for it, rather than on how many keywords you can squeeze into a page.

I do agree with you. But after all we need to get ourself explose to the public if we are to sell the adbanner at the top of the page. My page is going to be a community for a specific topic for example automobile, gardening etc. So I need whoever interested in those topics to be able to reach my site through search engine, that's the first thing cross my mind . I was thinking that would be the only way to attract massive visitors. Of course I will make the web site a useful and resourceful one.
Thanks for your kind advice. I would probably modify the forum template to get what I want because I know nothing about SSI...
Thank you.

Naichunlei,

Search engine results, and "hits" in general, can be deceiving. You can be ranked #1 in Google and be getting hundreds (or thousands) of hits per day, but if you've only designed the site for that purpose, you won't get much further than that. The users might poke around for a minute, but will then leave in search of a better site.

The best way to get a high search engine ranking is generally to have a good website. Every day, search engine staffs work at finding ways to more accurately detect the difference between good websites and websites merely disguised as good ones.

If you do decide to go with the format you described, the easiest way would probably be to use SSI, or to modify the code of the BB system you're using.

Good luck!

This would make the site rank high on the search engine because the first page will contain many keywords.
Ray

A list with lots of keywords doesn't mean high rankings (anymore). Most search engines ignore them nowadays.

But what is the site about? Do you have content, that is, do you have something to share or offer? If so, the first thing is to structurize the information you have and make that structure the base of your new site.

Hope that helps,
