I agree with daveyboy uninstall fp it puts to much clutter in you pages and there are much better programs out there. dreamweaver is really nice and you can even build nice pages just using ms word.search google for wysiwyg editor & try a couple of those.

Hi,

It sounds like your web needs to be re-calculated. Your web host will have to do this for you.

You do not need to recalculate hyperlinks for a web or subweb if all your links are set up and maintained by SharePoint Team Services or Frontpage 2002. You need to recalculate hyperlinks only if you have set up some hyperlinks manually.

However, I have found that occasionally hyperlinks need to be re-calcualted for large webs and/or subwebs.

Frontpage extensions are very sensitive and can break very easily, especilly if you have used FTP at any time.

Thank you. I asked them to fix the site everytime....the reply..well we can't do that we don't know were everything goes. That is how bad it goes down. I completely have to rebuild the nav. I have been down now 5 days. The site is in shambles and I can't get anything to ftp over to it. They wrote this morning after many emails and said esculated to two tier support what ever that is and left it at that. Thank you both for your reply.

I agree. It's your host's problem. If the site keeps breaking everytime they re-install FPSE, then they should fix it everytime. Keep nagging them untill they fix it or provide another solution.

If this happens often, you may consider looking for another host.

Welcome to TWF Zippy.
It sounds like it's your hosts problem, can you ftp to your site ?(with anything other than FP)
Maybe they didn't install all the extensions.
