First impression is that this looks really good - very professional looking. It does look like there's a little too much text on here. I would remove that big long quote in the header area and either replace it with something shorter or expand the graphic. I still say that the first header graphic you had was the best!

Are you not done with this yet? There are things on here that look like links but aren't working! Hover effects and mouseovers on the graphic nav would be a helpful addition.

Text on some of these pages is waaaaayyyy too small. Not comfortable for reading at all. I was reading a newspaper article the other day that talked about how most of the people interested in politics and news are middle aged or older. Remember that these people don't have the greatest eyesight.

That small toolbar along the top with the auction links is a bit of a problem I think. It's not all that noticeable up there... OH, and don't link to external sites from your navbars. It's really confusing, because from a site's navigation bar I expect to stay within the site. External links should be placed differently.

Overall a good job!

Could you put up the old header for comparison? Maybe I"m forgetting what it looked like. I'm sorry I didn't have a lot of time to thoroughly review your site again. With all the sites I review here it's often difficult to recall exactly what one of them was like on first review

How can you say that the old header was better than this one? I think you are the only one that thinks that. I also added new features, but apparently you didnt see it.

This really looks the same to me, except for the header, which isn't as striking as the old one was. The text is still really difficult to read. It needs to be more readable - keep the font size close to the default and use HTML's formatting elements (paragraphs, headings, lists etc.) to break things up.

I dont think the colours are too dark, but i do think the text could do with being a little larger.

The links on the left are good. i think they match the site well.

I like your banner at the top.

You should make the links on the right same as the links on the left, it would look better that way.

The site loads up quick enough for me. took like 10-11 seconds for it to load fully.

Overall i think its a pretty good site.

gore myths, etc

Hello Again...........

As far as the font goes I think any of the following are good: ariel, ariel black (where you neded extra emphasis) ariel narrow.

The problem with the myths page.........both length & readability is, to me, a serious one. Why not split the page into more than one? You have at least a dozen topics on it. Why not consider using the (1st) page as a summary.........listing the various topics with a one line summary and a link to a separate page(s) someone wants to read the details on specific articles. You could include links to all myth articles on eac myth page to keep everything together.

If as I think you said, the article is simply an image (and you can't change the font) maybe you can adjust the colors a little to make it easier to read?

Also............I have found that Paint Shop Pro is not the easiest to learn (especially for me!) but it's the best tool I've ever used for any kind of graphic. With it, you can do just about anything.

Thanks..

If you are talking about a font for the general main text then I always use verdana as it's clean and easy to read plus looks professional.

But I have a problem. This is what it says about the fonts:

SiteBuilder offers a variety of font types that you can use on your site just by adding a Text Element to your page. The following fonts are available:

Times New Roman
Helvetica
Courier
Arial Black
Arial Narrow
Bookman
Comic Sans
Garamond
Haettenschweil
Impact
Tahoma
Verdana
= viewable within SiteBuilder
= preview in web browser to view font type

If you do not find the font you need in SiteBuilder, there are a couple of ways you can incorporate different fonts into your Web pages:

You can take screen shots of the text that you wish to put in your site, convert the images into .jpg or .gif format, and import them into your Web site.

This process requires access to graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, or an image editor/converter.

Which of the above fonts would look good? Also how could I do what is at the bottom with the long text as in the Myths Page?
