you keep saying get apache but that is where the problem is, all of the packs that i have installed have used apache, its hard to find one that doesnt have apache, and im fairly sure it is apache that is giving me the problem.

it works now, it was just a stupid problem.

no. you may be able to compile just the clphp executable, but it wouldnt let you see anything in a browser, and it'd be a bigger pain in the *** than just installing apache. you can't run a webserver without a webserver, which is basically what you want to do.

p.s. get Apache

also you shouldnt have to install asp, it's part of IIS. no reason you shouldnt be able to install php either... i'd recommend dumping the microsoft webservers and installing apache.

edit: ok just realized you said you cant because you have home edition - get apache!

asp makes me want to barf. it's pretty much VB, i don't mind VB but i hate ASP for some reason. Anyways, it's all personal preference, i'd personally recommend perl or php but they all do the same thing.
