Most has been mentioned already, white space on right, to many links in text and naviagtion, get rid of the icons and place your links there.

One thing that jumps out at me is that fact your using PHP3 which is a tad old now.

OK now I have a naviagtion bar across the top, I'm sure that wasn't there before. OK and now I am also getting the tool tips box on the links, they must be really slow loading as it took a return trip to the index to see them.

I'm getting a slight horxiontal scrol bar in mozilla at 800x600

you might want to fix the status message on the menu as well, as what is seen isn't the best to see, page names and variable values, diguise it with the url - don't hide it

Well, first of all, there is a big white empty space to the right of the content which looks...white...

You have way too many links in your paragraph, try limiting it down to just a few. Either that, extract them and make them in to navigation links.

And yes, the bar on the left, that can be removed, I don't really see much use in it being there

I don't really have much to add that's not already been said. I think for me the images down the left side are a bit pointless, I don't need to know that a site is using MySQL or powered by php & perl. IMO you'd be better off sorting out your navigation and splitting it between top and side so that the important links are idetified straight away instead of wading through the drop downs or paragraphs of text. Whilst the header area is nice the rest of it is somewhat plain and lacking in a real punchy design, which is what I'd expect from a design company.

the site doesnt jump out at me, you should maybe add a bit more color to the bottom (moving those buttons on the left side of the site might help)
also space your text a little more so it doesnt seem as cluttered.

The main sections of my site all use css and includes to make everything easy to update. The demo software and some other areas still need to be updated, but I wanted to wait until I have the layout and design dialed in. The reason there are so many things on my site is I get a lot of requests to see software in action.

Very left-sided and found the font too clunky with all those links in the text.

Couldn't see the point of the links on the left. Seemed like different sections of the site at first, then thought they were ads and then clicking on them found out they were a link to a couple of lines of text that could have been used in an "alt" expression or a MouseOver on the Status bar.

When I ran one of the demo software programs, the menu bar changed and didn't look any good.

I don't know if it's just me but i'm also tired of blue being used as the corporate colour too. It seems to be everywhere when a site is selling something either online or off.

Your navigation script doesn't work at all in my browser - you should look for something that doesn't detect for appname but rather by supported elements.

Actually, I would say that a big navigation menu like that really isn't the best model. You don't need to put every link on the site in the navbar. Each of those sections should have its own page where people can get an overview of what you offer in that area and go on from there. Actually, you should really just focus on the services that you offer and move all the other stuff (translations, free stuff etc.) to another area. Your product may be getting lost among all the extra junk here.

I also agree that you should move all those buttons to the right side of the page, leaving the left side for your main navigation. What you could do is put a left side navbar with the links to your services, protfolio page, and about us. Then use the top navbar for all the extra stuff. People have been trained to look for the important information in the top-left side of the page, but on your site that area has been largely taken up with unnecessary stuff.

Reading the About Us section - either refer to yourself as one person (I) or as a business (C-double). Try to use a consistent prsentation of yourself rather than mixing the two.

Another thing is that the logo could really use some work. That font is particularly dull and it isn't memorable at all. Try something more uniuqe.

You seem to have all of your navigation links in the text of the paragraphs in the main body part. I didn't go through every link in the top navigation but are these links up there?

I think you should either get rid of the images on the left side and put your main navigation there where it will be easy for the user to find. It sorta looks like a blog with all those links in the paragraphs.

If you aren't going to put links on the left you should maybe rearrange your top navigation so that the important stuff is first instead of demos and free stuff.

Also, might be a good idea for the links (secondary navigation) at the bottom to be in the same order as you will have them at the top (or on the side if you choose to put those there)

Not a bad start.
