I think we're just going to go with phpBB - we're not really in a position to purchase a costly package and I think it will be easier just to use something I'm familiar with.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and if anyone has any other ideas I'm certainly open to them.

Think that I've been looking for about the same type of forum as you have.

Web Wiz Forums version 6.34 is one that consists of a software package to download and install on your server, free to use, but possibel to get in a cheep boxed version too. Your server must support ASP. Look at www.webwizguide.info/web_wiz_forums/

Another is Hostboard, a fully online service as I get it, but it costs minimum 5$/month. Look at www.hostboard.com/host.html

There are more out there, but these two i found are ad-free, as far as i can see.

Does anyone have more suggestions, I'm intressted too.
