DSL
800x600
IE5

Even with DSL the site was a little slow to load. In my opinion, the top menu bars are overwhelming. Not to mention they are repeated at the bottom which I think is unnecessary.

I really don't like the mouseover effect on the menu bar, particularly on the top gold bar where the gold box changes to red and doubles in height.

I think what I would suggest is to have the links associated with action64 along the top and the other links organized in a left column menu or vice versa.

The graphics and color scheme are nice and the rest of the layout is well done.

Hello Mike,

This is just my opinion but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the choices of the 3 top navbars. It's not immediately clear to me which bar is associated with Action64 and which are just special interest links.

I'm more comfortable with the format used by http://www.kron.com/ . What I like about this site is that the left nav-column clearly delineates the typcial news segments of this TV station. The top nav-bar (tabs) focus on special interest topics.

KRON's website, however, takes a while to load and is not compatible with all browsers on all operating systems. I know that it is sometimes inaccessible with Navigator 4.7x on Solaris.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,

Just wondering what browser you were using? I'm viewing with MSIE 5 on 800x600 and I don't get a horizonatal scrollbar.

I agree with Busy, it's slow and confusing and I'm not at all keen on the layout for the links. The programming schedule should be easily identifiable at the top but when you finally get there, there is a massive horizontal scrollbar at 800*600.

Took a little while to load on dialup, but the top section loaded quick, reminded me of close encounters when you mouse over the links lol.

Is this a television channels web site? I can get web cams, surveys, the weather, horoscopes, details on dating, jobs, movies, news landscaping etc etc but where are the tv programs?

I think this would have to go up there with some of the most confusing sites I've seen, way to much going on, no order to anything - sorry.

I like the top nav buttons. Everything laid out right in front of you. Very nice.

My first impression is that things seem rather jumbled together in a lot of places. I especially don't like how all the navigation is done horizontally - Horizontal navigation should be used only when all the options fit across the screen in one row. Here, the stacked menus are confusing and hard to follow, especially since they don't line up with each other. This would really work better as a vertical menu.

The colour scheme also seems very disjointed. The main part of the site is done in blue and yellow, which is fine, but it really overpowers the darker black and red colours in the header and logo area.
