Better! I particularly like the way you have the portfolio screen shots, is that why you do splash pages?? hehe

Width: better now. I'd still go a little wider, but if you like it like this, it's fine.

Link colour: I don't like the new colour. I'm partially red-green blind so it's hard to tell just what shade it is. Looks like it could be a grey, or a dark green, or even a desaturated dark red. It still somewhat blends with the text colour when I don't look closely. I'd like to see a brighter colour, but again, at this point, it's really up to you.

Otherwise, I didn't spot any glaring errors. Good job.

ok, I bumped up the width a bit (550px) and took the font size up a notch in the portfolio sections. I also went with a new link colour.

I think I'll go live with this later today unless anyone notices any glaring errors.

I pretty much agree with what's been said so far on this! The only eyes I like are the closed ones but it is, as you say your branding, so that's fine. I definitely think it needs to be wider though.

Push it up to 620 if you're going for >648x480 compatilibility, or 750 for >800x600. Skinny is one thing, toothpick's another.

I'm on 1280x1024, btw. Imagine what I see...

Sorry Mike but the "eyes" have it! (heh - I was just waiting for a chance to say that )

The eyes, in some variation, have been with me since the beginning. They're too much a part of my identity to drop now. Internet Concepts Unlimited = ICU. icu@sitesunseen, etc.

The other "eye-hater" is my wife so I'm used to making the argument

In case you haven't guessed by the width, I started off making some banners and thought hey, these could be page headers. I actually had to drop a page from my current site for the navigation to work with the width. Perhap I'll try it at 550, 600 tops (sue me, I like whitespace) although I have to admit, the skinny lil sucker is growing on me and I'm at 1152 width (I must *love* whitespace!)

Busy, you're right on the nav colours. I did have them reversed but the pink looked to much like the current site. If I get all the fonts up to 12px, then bolding the links might do it.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'd say to narrow, and if it wasn't as narrow it wouldn't be as long
The colour of inline link are a little hard to find, the colour blends into the text to well.
I like the eyes, except the old ladies ones, think its my grandma going to get me with a wooden spoon lol
nice work

Quote: Too plain? Too narrow? Too... what?

I pick "Too plain". Well, it's not really too plain, but it's somehwat bland. You haven't got much going in the way of brighter, more vibrant colours (or even images). In your previous design, you had a lot more going on, but still balanced. I think this new look lacks that little "life".

You do a good job with the eyes. I really like seeing two eyes for once, instead of the cycloptic images on so many other sites.

Everything else is just fine. I don't see ways to improve it.

Just my opinion, but I don't like the eyes theme. I know what you were going for artisticly but I just find so many eyes on the home page to be visually.... um... well, freaky! (some eyes more than others) Sorry. But I went thru the rest of the site and I like everything else like design and layout and stuff.

i'm finding a width of "468" a bit 'small' it looks ok on 800*600 but how would it look like on a bigger Resolution? ?(

Other than that, it looks good
