I like the new design. However, I would like to see more of a squash theme in the design.

Thats looking really good, the navigation looks like it belongs now.

Instead of grey at the ends of it, have you tried the darker red from the banner (the colour of the word squash) and either continue the top banner to the right more to line up with the bottom (the same red mentioned above would probably suit) or add a rounded end like at bottom of nav
and maybe just change the color of the words "Facilities" and "Membership" to that red colour.

Looks pretty good to me.
I think you might improve the links on the side nav by making them the same colours as the bottom nav, this'll make them stand out a little more...Bit hard to read at the moment IMO.
(It'll also make your style sheets a little easier to manage:D )

I think the shape of the nav bar is fine, have you tried it with bold text and then the grey background changing to blue on mouseover?

No pictures yet. Client's having troubles transferring. But rest assured there will be some when this goes online.

I'm totally out of ideas for the navbar. I've tried seven and a quarter truckloads of colour combinations, shapes, and sizes. Even tried a couple of variations with fonts, but I'll give that another chance now...

I still think that the nav bar is a bit uninteresting, have you tried the links bold to make them stand out more? I'm not a fan on stretchy sites as they look odd to me at larger resolutions with so little content but the site is ok. No pictures yet?

I had some content to add, so I was able to fill it up a bit.

NS4.77 renders it as a pathetic heap of un-styled text and displaced images. But it's readable and some of the structure is retained.
