Very nice looking website. I don't think I can say much that hasn't already been said. These are just some minor changes I think will improve the look of the site...

1. At some places, the text is way to small to read.
2. The menubar shouldn't be longer than the rest of the site.
3. The column on the right looks to unorganized and ruins the look of the site (which is very organized ).
4. The webquad network bar on the top, any chance you can change its colors to fit the site?
5. The gray text in the menubar is a little hard to read.

Good luck.

Quote: Overall the layout and choice of colors is very pleasing to the eye. Navigating around the website is very easy. Very nice website! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliments. I appreciate it

Quote: 2. On the RoN page, under 'RON Recent Topics', the font sizes for the links and topic details are a size larger thenthe other content in that sidebar. As Julia says, it creates an illusion of clutter or disorganisation. Try keeping the fonts uniform. You might also want to use Verdana for that small a size.

That I can't do anything about because it is coming from PHPBB Code and grabbing topics from our forums; the links are using CSS but I can edit the font only; thus, I have to keep both the link size and font size uniforms, and you get that size...hard to explain...

Quote: Wow, a gaming site that doesn't look like.... a gaming site! So refreshing to see. As usual, great work with the graphics.

Thank you! The graphics did take a while to do, so I appreciate it

Quote: About the navbar, I'm finding that the grey text on that textured background is really hard to read. Also, it seems to me that the really important content is in the "AoM" and "RoN" menus, so those should be emphasized over the "RS" menu which is mainly site administrative stuff.

Good thought, but we felt it is important for people to understand that RON and AOM are WITHIN RS. Then, they can also easily learn about RS, Contact Us, Contribute, etc very easily, instead of it being disorganized, or perhaps allowing them to THINK that it was JUST an AOM website by having such links at the top...

Great comments

Wow, a gaming site that doesn't look like.... a gaming site! So refreshing to see. As usual, great work with the graphics. I really don't like how that right-hand column is set out - it just seems out of place for some reason, and too much text flowing over too many lines. You could probably set that text out in slightly smaller text, or just include the titles and not the extra information. I do find that there is too many different font sizes being used here - it might be a good idea to keep that a little more consistent.

About the navbar, I'm finding that the grey text on that textured background is really hard to read.

Wow!

First allow me to say, great content! *bookmarks site*

Now, onto the nitty-gritty. I have only two things to pick on.

1. The navbar often overruns the length of the body area. Looks a little disjointed with the nav going one way and the main "box" going another way. Try and make the main content area stretch down the length of the the nav. It'll create a lot of whitespace inside, but it'll be better than what's there now.

2. On the RoN page, under 'RON Recent Topics', the font sizes for the links and topic details are a size larger thenthe other content in that sidebar. As Julia says, it creates an illusion of clutter or disorganisation. Try keeping the fonts uniform.
Other than that, good job!

Very slow to load and I have a cable connection. Very graphic intensive but I suppose it does suit the subject matter. The text is a wee bit small and hard to read in some places and I'm finding the text on the right hand column makes it look cluttered. Not too bad a start.
