&lt;p&gt;Socket Error 10051 is a pretty general error. You seem to have ruled out the most obvious, ISP blocking port 25 to prevent spam relays. There really wasn&#039;t much listed for it on MS Technet. I am not familar with Imail, mostly Exchange, Sendmail and Qmail but I did find &lt;a href=&quot;http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WSK-19980714-EM17.htm&quot; class=&quot;bb-url&quot;&gt;this article&lt;/a&gt; which seems to indicate a possible routing error.&lt;/p&gt;
