Yeah, I finally got it right It was mainly IE that was showing the poor colors perhaps because of this software that came with the monitor which is supposed to change to True Internet color or whatever.

I'm thinking about changing to a Maxtor G550 which has support for DVI and they're supposed to have the best 2D graphic which is great for me since I work most of the time. They're pretty cheap too, costs around $120 here. I used to have a G200 before and I was extremely happy with it. It truely had great 2D and IMHO the 3D wasn't bad at all.

It's probably just the way you have your screen configured.

I have my CRT's color temperature set to 7500K. Lower, and the whites appear to be 'warmer' (more redish). Higher, and the whites appear to be 'cooler' (more bluish).

Sorry. I meant LCD.
I have a Geforce2 GTS card. I doesn't have DVI port though. I'm also seeing the white as a little redish color. Friend has the same monitor and says it's find on his. Not sure if it's my graphiccard or if I have the colors misconfigured or something.

What card do you have? My TNT2 has a DVI port.

(Digital Video Interface) DVI is a higher quality. Most commonly found with LCD screens. You can get dongles to convert from DVI to VGA.

BTW, you linked to a LCD, not a CRT.

I've moved this thread to Computer Help as I think you'll get a better response from here.
