It's always a difficult balancing act between what you like as a designer and what to do as a SEO!! My husband & I have some great arguements about this subject!!

In general search engines like content and by that it means text they can crawl, good titles with around 7 words with keywords placed according to the page's subject, H1 tags on each page, a good meta description and relevant keyword placement within body text. I would personally get rid of the splash page and although some of the SEs may be starting to index flash text that's really for complete sites with again 'content' in them rather than a flash intro.

As far the actual site goes, apart from the splash page, you can leave the links as they are at the side, but make them preload, but put text links along the bottom for the SEs to crawl better. It is definitely a site that looks better at smaller resolutions on smaller screens as it's a bit spaced out when viewed on a larger screen/resolution but I don't think the colours are too bad, quite restful.

Front page - like the green image part, don't like the pale yellow background (doesn't seem to be the right choice here); don't like the serif fonts in there for the three nav link parts. The bigger text and the logo is ok.

Second page - same problem with the pale yellow; logo seems too small; header part stretches with screen res. but text part doesn't (this probably shouldn't stretch though - it would be way too wide at high resolutions); picture should be tinted green to match sidebar a little better; good layout when not all stretched out - nice to see green for a change, and the curve is a nice addition... fix stylesheet to make sure all text appears in sans-serif.

About navigation - I'm not sure that I would know where to go, especially if I was a potential patient with no experience in this area. Maybe you could set-up a section to help people figure out what kind of services they need.

Almost forgot - definitely be clear about your location. Remember that people on the 'net could be anywhere in the world - you want to attract the people from your area and make sure that others know right away (or even before they arrive), that you won't be able to help them.

For the SE's - you might want to make your page headers text with H1 tags or whatever instead of a graphic - that's another thing the SE's tend to pay attention to.

Sorry for the short comments, but I really ought to be getting to bed...

First of all, excellent work on the website. As I browse the website, I have no complaints at all.

For starters, I love the "clean-cut" and smooth look the website has. It is very professional looking and provides visitors with easy navigation. About the GIF images, they look good to me. The download time is good, to say the least, so no worries there.

I like the organization, colors, and feel of the website. Good work.

See You Around,

From what I understand, SE's don;t like splash pages, flash has no indexable content, nor does images. The left nav could be done with text while using the curve as background

[edit]alltheweb.com (SE) has an option to search flash files among other things so could be possible[/edit]

I'm a little confused on the splash page, says "click to enter" on the mid right but there are seperate links down the bottom. IMO I'd loose the splash page, I had one on my site and noticed Googles page rank was way lower on it.

The load time isn't to bad on 56k
Are all the links on the left meant to have mouseovers on them? I'm only getting one on "insurance coverage", ok I am getting more now I have looked around the site, you might want to preload those

On the skillednursing page the menu doesn't fit 800x600 very well, I can just fit it in on IE (with google tool bar) but takes a few attempts, but can't fit in in on opera

you might want to add marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" to your body tags as your only using IE's ones
