    <description> &lt;p&gt;WinRAR rocks, except the cost and then it nags you, but you can still use it. It actually compresses files more than WinZip, so I use it.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Tar (linux) supports it. To tar a file from the shell in Linux:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;tar cvf - filenames file.tar&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
