here is teh link so people dont have to go back for it http://www.mbmicro.co.uk/new-blue/index.html

the page itself looks good. a lil slow to load on 56k
Its always easier to place your coding per line (as you have it, one meta tag per line) as editing next time is easier, or if someone else has to edit it they dont have to untangle it all first.
the code in the head tag looks ok, but if you want to make it proper change the

Hello again.

Could i also ask people to look at my code of the site and tell me if the code between the head tags is ok being lowercase and if i could also ask you to please give me your opinion of my code. Should i have the code in the head tags on seperate lines for each individual meta tag or on the same line/s (in other words use more width of the page on the html)

Your opinion on the code and site layout are always welcome. Its good to hear comments good and bad.

Thanks

Mark

yes yes yes yes yes......hehhehe

Ive duuun it. The CSS on the left links is now working.

What i have done is just moved to an external style sheet instead of implimenting it into every individual page. Hows it looking peeps. Are the left links black to you as well?

All i have to do now is preload the mouse-overs and im ready to finish off the site with addding content etc.

Thanks for the great help peeps.

Regards

Mark

The left links are better now but the top links are still slow rolling over first time round, you really need to add the preload.

Could someone please tell me if i have fixed the delays on the roll-overs. I havent made them pre-loaded but have now included the animation.js file which may have been the problem as i missed it out of the upload for this review.

I have also added a bold to the hover on the left links to make the roll-over effect stand out a bit more than it was (fairly un-noticed)

Let me know what you think

Thanks

To preload the over state of the buttons you will need to add the following code:

to the head section add -<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">

</script>

to the body tag add - onload="MM_preloadImages('image1.gif','image2.gif','image3.gif')" listing all the images you want to preload.

For the left side links I would add maybe an orange or red colour???

Hi.

Thanks again for the reviews.

Busy, what do you mean by horizontal scroll? do you mean the body test is too wide? it should be perfect in 800x600 and still fine with 1024x768 just leaving white space to the right.

Also i am not sure how to make the images pre-load in the viewers browser. Could anyone give me the code please and would it have to be applied to every image seperately or one code for all the images in the tags?

YOu will see that the left-links do have a rollover colour. It is however, fairly un-noticable so any suggestions on what to do with the left-links will be appreciated but i have just got rid of the underline for hover. I didnt like it. So i am going to stick with the colour change on hover instead.

Thanks again peeps

I don't know how I missed this one before so I didn't get to see the orange but the blue is very nice. I would make the logo slightly bigger so that it (not the surrounding box) is taller and fills that space more. You also definitely need to preload your rollover images as they are slow to work. I would also make your left hand links a darker (or maybe different colour) on hover but I don't think they need to be underlined.

Nice work

I like the changes
I'd suggest preloading them... it takes a few seconds on a mouseover...
As busy said, change the a:hover to underline it or a deeper color
Good work!

The mouse overs do work before you click on them. The reason why after you have clicked on them they remain in the "Lit" or blue is because i have design them that way as an indication of what page you are on. If you roll the mouse across the links at the top nav bar you will see they will light up as the mouse moves over.

Thanks for the opinion
