I haven't used GoLive myself, but Macromedia and Adobe are both GREAT software companies and I don't think you can go wrong eitherone you decide to go with.

I just wanted to add that I've been using GoLive 6 today and I'm really starting to think that this program is a lot better than it's been given credit for. It's got almost all the same features as DW, although the interface isn't quite as intuitive.

There is a lot going on there but it's great to have everything right at your fingertips. I did find myself thinking about upping my screen res though... (at home I would, at work 1280 is a bit too tiny on a 17")

I suppose a lot of it is what you get used to. MX is soooooo much better than version 4 and you can turn off the pallets you aren't using.

I tried DWMX the other day, and I have to admit, I was impressed.

But it was all a bit too much (too many options, palettes, windows... and oh what not).

I don't think I'll ever get used to a visual editor. EditPad all the way!

Dreamweaver MX is wonderful I agree and I've always used DW

I'm not even gonna say "I told you so" I've been a DW addict for years now. MX is truly a great editor even compared to DW4.
