I wash I know how, I can't even change the text color into the purple color that I like, I can't even make the text size smaller either, believe me or not.

What are you using to build your site? If you are hand coding then I suggest that you read through some of the many good tutorials that are out there (do a search on google) or if you are using a wysiwyg program then you should't have any problems with tables as they will do the code for you.

You definitely need to choose a good colour scheme with two or three colours and then decide a sensible, easy to read layout and the key is organisation. Think about your visitors and how they would go about finding things on your site. It doesn't have to all be on one page.
