Otherwise, it doesn't make sense... what margins should photoshop justify the text to? [/B]

That's what I was thinking too, but when I saw the grayed out boxes, I thought I could active them in a way by defining some margins. Didn't know how btw...

Anyway: I figured it out for PS6 (at work), will try PS7 tomorrow (at home). In PS6 it goes like this:

-Type some text
-Choose in the menu --> Layer --> Type --> Convert to Paragraph text
-Click one of the justify buttons on the Paragraph tab (Window --> Show Paragraph)

Thanx,

Photoshop only aligns to a text area.
Text area = the box you can draw (in PS7, at least) and type text in.

Just select the text tool, click and drag to draw the box for your text, and then the justify/paragraph buttons are enabled.

In PhotoShop7, click on the window menu and then Paragraph.. There you can select if you want the text aligned to the left, center, right or justified. To unjustify it, simply click on align left, center or right.

Now the funny part is, I can't justify any text, those options are there, but they're grayed out..
