Well firstly i like the colour blue as well, but maybe you could do something to break it up, maybe different shadingof blue for the text?

The header is the problem, first time i seen it i went 'now where have i seen that before?' took me a while to figure it out (hey, i just woke up...gimme a break) Maybe if you ran the haed banner through photoshop with the eyecandy plug in and gave it a motion effect it might make it more eyecatching and take the emphasis away from the actual font style?

Also, the links page looks like its got a lot of links added to it. If your planning on adding more it may be a good idea to categorise them just now, instaed of having to wade through a whole load of them in a few months time. e-card sites attract alot of attention (used to run one myself) and your links list will grow exponentially, especially during the summer months.

Also, about your chat room...

Most people who go into a chat room in an e-cards site, especially one as formal and well layed out as your would expect to enter a chat populated by people in their early 30's or something, when i went into the chat it was FULL (about 30 or so) of early teens busy argueing with one another and some of them (guys) tried to start hitting on me. It isnt a good place for your visitors to go to and no doubt after being in there they wouldnt come back cause they would think that it is actually YOUR chat room...

Change the chat room...

Nice site. I like the color blue so that didn't bother me much. The two things I noticed is that a couple of your pages, notably the index.htm loaded very slowly. The card page also loaded slowly but that might be because of all your images. One other thing, I noticed when I changed window sizes your navigation bar went to two lines. I think it was the links tab that dropped off to another line. To me, that would be a problem. I think there might be room to move the other over to the left so that won't happen. Or you could create a drop down menu. Better yet take the live chat link out of the navigation bar and make it part of the content. There are many choices. Good luck. The overall site looks great.

I would probably choose a different font for the logo. If that isn't the disney font it sure looks a heck of a lot like it. The first problem is that it does look like you're copying them. The second problem is that it looks like you're infringing on their identity or trying to get in on their marketing and branding. Find something a little more unique.

Those really are some beautiful photos. However,I think the process of choosing a card could be made a little more clear. What you should do is put "send this card" links under each picture. "select" and then "next" didn't make a whole lot of sense to me (and when I did that I got a "connection closed by remote server" error... okay, so that seems to be an Opera problem).

The layout is okay. I really don't think that you need to do a whole lot more with the it. The pictures really speak for themselves and any more clutter in the layout would just take away from that. I don't have a problem with so much blue, although I do agree that you ought to change the link colour just for usabilitiy's sake.

I'm finding the font on the "About Maldives" page to be much to small. I'm also getting a javascript error when I click on the pictures here (assuming that clicking on them is going to give me a larger version of the same).

Welcome to TWF,

I think it's too blue and as the pictures are all so blue (very nice though) it needs somthing to make them stand out rather than all blend together. The logo nees something to make it stand out as more than a copy of the Disney font. The next button definitely needs to say preview or customise or something rather than next as that really does imply the next lot of cards. I'm not sure I like the visited link colour you have either and the second page of info on the Maldives looks like you're on another site!

Can you please help others out by reviewing some of their sites please.

It's very blue
Is that logo font the walt disney one?
That "live chat" flashing like that doesnt work on all browsers.
I think you need to change your font color, having the text and links the same confuse people, blue font is known as a link.
At the very bottom, beside the copyright bit you have a date, is thatdate meant to be todays date? cause for me it shows "August 1, 2002" or maybe its the last update you did?
one the postcard selection panel, you have the <<>>, maybe "preview" would be a better word, as the next implies there is more to select from.
having your links go bold on mouseover (links page) is really annoying when the whole page jumps around. the links page is missing something, hmmm, its missing a link to webmaster-forums.net

Looks pretty good. Nice work...however, the title graphic/logo at the top could stand out better. Even the text just below it seems to over power the title of the site. Maybe go with a different color.

Are all of those maldive sites listed on google yours? That is good but of course, anything that you type in that is included in the text or URL of your site will show up on google. Do you come up in any of the searches when you leave off the word, "maldives"? If so, that is when you are good.

And please tell me what is up with this page here?
http://www.maldivescards.com/maldives/index.html
It keeps auto directing back and forth. Very annoying. Why does it do that?
