Behind the times or not... Not everyone embraces new technology. Some "old" means still prove effective.

Why don't you provide means for allowing your clients to make changes online? Afterall, this is the digital age, what you're doing is behind the times, it seems. Take a look at Editize: http://www.editize.com

All sites that I have are 150-400 pages. Clients need to make changes constantly, and having a printed copy is the easiest way to allow them to edit the material. This seems to be the most productive method of ensuring that changes are made correctly and the material is edited properly.

Yes, open every page and hit print, brilliant! Why didn't I think of that! This is the way I'm doing it now, and it is in fact VERY time consuming, considering the amount of pages I have to print.

HP used to make a small piece of software, called Web Printsmart, that allowed you to be able to print off an entire Website. They do not distribute it anymore, so I'm going to try and find a copy elsewhere. I'm also considering writing a small application myself to try and accomplish this task. Thanks for the input anyway.

yeah, maybe someone would write it, but it would be hard because the program would have to search the whole directory of the website, and it would have to know what type of iles to look for such as .php or .html or .shtml. and it would have to know not to print the images, although you could just throw them away

Depending on how many sites you have to do, how big they are, and how often you have to do it I can see how it would be a great help to have a mass printing option like this.

I can imagine that having a printed copy would be good for a number of reasons. Firstly for clients to review things and make changes - instead of having to describe where and what they want changed they can just mark it right on the printout. Makes things easier for both of you.

Unless that sites are like 200 pages each, I don't think it would be that hard or time consuming to click on each link and pressing the print button. I know there are programs that download entire websites, but I haven't seen one that allows you to print all sites as well.

I need to make printed copies of Websites that I develop, I do not wish print out entire web sites that I find on the net. I need to open the folder that I have my Website placed in, and be able to print off all pages contained within it, including the pages in the subfolders.
