Hmm.. What version of PHP is the server running? Try replacing $_REQUEST[url] with $url or $HTTP_GET_VARS[url]

I've done that now, do I put it in the Cgi bin or something like that. Sorry, PHP is not my area of expertise, I am a complete novice on PHP.

I've just loaded it all into my main directory for the web pages, not in the CGI-bin or anything. The bottom frame doesn't load anything to it.

This is what you gave me, but how come the speach-marks haven't been closed off may I ask and there's an '>' at the end.

Could it be I haven't typed any special coding at the top of the PHP script or something that is needed. All I did was re-name the file from redirect.htm to redirect.php.

Should the script work offline on my hard-drive, and not be launched to the server?

Make your HTML files with the 2 frames, but name the file with the tags in it "redirect.php" (so it's PHP). Then instead of putting an URL for the bottom frame, put this:

<?= $URL ?>

So it would look something like this:

Now you can link to redirect.php?url=http://www.google.com/

You can replace google.com with the URL you want.
