I quite like Netscape, actually. If you use the option to Enable Quick Launch, it's very fast-loading. I don't use NS7 for my "everyday" browser, but I do use NS6.2. I think it handles really nicely and I admit I like the "skins".

I have had a bit of trouble with NS7 doing weird things in the display (not display of pages, but the actual browser on my computer screen). I think it may be the system rather than the browser, though (this system is a little wonky at times for reasons I have yet to pin down).

On a semi-related note, it has been reliably reported that AOL is going to stop issuing/using IE and move to a Gecko-based browser (basically Netscape, but tweaked for AOL). That means there will be some 35 million more NS users in the forseeable future... Good idea to start taking Netscape into consideration again.

Ah, I remember the days when Netscape absolutely ruled the web...

I have had it for a few weeks now. Bonni told me to go and download it so I did. It's not too bad, considering it's Netscape. I have to say it loads up quicker than Opera lately. And IE still is my first choice. But I do check my sites in all 3, just to make sure everything works and shows up pretty well.

I've just installed NS7. I have to say it's not as slow and clunky as I'd expected. Not much seems different from NS6 ATM. I guess I'll find the bugs over time.

Good to see NS using tabbed windows, though. That's about all I can say for now.

I would like to change my opinion about the preview release of Netscape 7. Although I haven't tired it that much, it looks promissing. It actually shows my website the way it's ment to be! *shocked*

I'll never again install a Netscape product when the free, cutting-edge, non-commercialized Mozilla is available. Besides, there isn't a big difference between Netscape 6 and 7, despite the huge version jump. You also cannot have Netscape 6+ and Mozilla on your computer at the same time - my choice has been made.

I'm not a big fan of Netscape. I've tried preview release 1 and it's ok. I would much rather use IE or Opera though.
