Whew that is a lot of stuff for the home page. Oh well, at least you have navigation links at the bottom of the page.

I think your logo needs to be bigger and either get rid of the links on the side or the top. You don't really need both.

My first suggestion is to reduce them amount of content on the opening page. Opening your site is like walking into a room and having 50 people all speak to you at once. You don't hear a single word and just want to take a step back.

I'd eliminate anything that does not absolutely need to be on that page. You have a menu down the side linking to a stack of pages, why not leave most of the info on that page to them? Also your latest reviews take pride of place on the main page but surely the taking center stage on your site should be a directory listing of reviews?

I have followed some of the suggestions:

I have moved the search bar down the page a bit.

I have changed the annoying email .gifs for text links.

I have attempted to space things out a bit.

I will do something about the nav bars, but that will take a little reorganizing, so that might take a few days!

Hello there.

If you do not want to use frontpage - you can try dreamweaver.

I feel that your homepage is way too long. Try to shorten it a bit.

I feel that you have overdone your nav. It is at the top, side and bottom. Then, on your secondary pages, the main nav is no longer on the side - instead you have the section nav. Though the concept is good - and it is easy to navigate - I would put the main nav always on the side and bottom and put the section nav along the top.

I would also shorten your main nav so that it always shows up on the page so you don't have to scroll.

hey...i think that your search engine shouldnt be at the top, since that is the first thing that is seen. you should put it along the side, farther down the page. i also agree with everyone else, it is a little cramped.

I browsed the page a bit and the only thing I saw that was very annoying was the free mail icon in the left corner. That just drove me crazy while i was looking around at first.

I'd like to reiterate on the spacing. It is way too cluttered. Your organization is fine once you resolve your spacing issues IMO. Just take it slow and don't let everything overwhelm you. I know how easy that can happen.

This is really all you need to know - how to borrow a script and make it work for you. Of course, it is nice to be able to understand the code and program your own little applications but you can always learn that later.

Thanks to all who have commented so far.

I will get right to work on some of the stuff, I am torn about continuing the use of Frontpage, or actually coding it, as I know most tags of HTML. I just dont know anything about javascript besides copy and paste:). I will have to think about that, I sure want to gain more control. FrontPage sure seems to leave a lot of crappy code after you have edited a page a few times.

I'll try to work on some of those things over this week and weekend,
