I purchased Multimedia Builder by Mediachance a few months back and I like it.

They say though that it isn't good for really large presentations.

It does have a trial version that you can try out first and see if it's for you.

It's pretty easy to learn the basics, though some of it seems to require a steeper learning curve. It has a lot of really good features. You can insert just about any type of file.

It's worth a shot at doing the trial and isn't that expensive if you decide you like it.

Here are two threads that were started a while back on this issue. I never did get mine to work. Maybe you can find some good pointers.
Good luck!

This is probably an odd way to do it, but I once did a little experiment with the Flash control in Visual Basic. All I did was drag the control onto the form and added a li'l resizing script that resizes the the movie dimensions. So when the app was run, it loaded a specified flash file in a borderless window and played.

The flash movie can be made to return arguments that can fire up functions in the VB code to do things like exit the program and so on.

I guess you could do that and burn it on a cd with autorun (not sure how to do that).

But I'm sure there's a simpler way to do it, though.

Taff,

MAC is not an issue. This is for local Gov. which is strictly PC. Good thing too, cause I dont have a MAC....LOL!

Since I have no idea what I am doing yet, I dont have any specific questions. But as they come up, count on hearing from me. Everyone in here has been seriously helpful in the past. My appreciation extends to you all for that.

Thanks
Guy

my 2 cents...

I've done a few cd-based projects and learned one thing: If you want it to be a hybrid Mac compatible, it'll have to be burned from a Mac.

I'm sure I learned a few other things (my first one was a real learning experience!) but nothing is coming to mind right now. I'll post back if I think of anything. Feel free to post more specific questions.

Oh yeah! If there is an easier way, I am open. Not at all stuck on how to accomplish the task at hand.

Thanks
