    <description> &lt;p&gt;YOu don&#039;t give a lot of information to go on, such as what kind of mailserver you are retrieving from, whether it is POP3, IMAP or something else, but ...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;specifying --keep and NOT specifying --all in your fetchmail configuration is supposed to work like what you want. (It does for me). I am retrieving from a POP3 server running Post.Office 3.5.3 w/ ZPOP v. 1.0&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I don&#039;t know anything about Fetchmail, but you can set an option in Outlook (Express) to automatically leave a copy on the server.&lt;/p&gt;
