Well, it basically requires a script or database to dynamically keep track of the downloads. You might be able to find such a script at HotScripts.com, haven't seen one, though.

You can use, php, asp or what ever, with a database or not.

Example would be:

1º The user clicks.
2º We send him first to a countredirect.php with an id
3º There we increase the countet+1 of the id
4º We redirect to the url given in the id data row
