Certainly, the quality of BMB has decreased as the ad market as descreased. There are popup ads and the first page you see when you login is a big ad, essentially, which is composed of an IE window, it is supposed to look like, with links to search, travel, etc. - a bunch of categorys advertisers paid to be listed there.

The servers havne't been terribly unreliable, as a matter of fact - sometimes, I notice the mail that forwards through their servers gets delayed, but for the price, I'm not complaining.

It is pretty easy to set this up. You have to e-mail your host and get your MX records modified - but if they get that right, you'll be ready to go.

I'm not really sure if it's improved stickyness - there are several hundreds members, but most are ones for our columnists. I can't really find a basis to compare anything.

But I can commend BMB's support - when you compare it to Everyone.net, which charges for any kind of support, BMB is great. Their support replied within 48 hours and that's the second time it's happened. I'd say give it a shot...
