What kind of video card and monitor size do you have? It sounds really ancient. The obvious way to solve this would be to go to a higher resolution. I'm running 1152x768, but 1024x764 is a popular one.

It happens with all programs that was just the most accesible one to show you.and the most obvious example
I tried changing the parameters, but with the slider, I can't get it to go exactly where it should, it just goes from 720 X 480(where it is now) to 640 X 480 OR 720 X 576, and both options lead to icon distortion.

Also: make sure the program is maximized and not restored down to a custom size.

Okay, here is ianrules' screenshot: http://sports-central.org/stuff/twf_user-screenshot.jpg

What OS are you running? It looks like Win98.

I would try adjusting the screen result by right-clicking on your desktop and going to Properties. Then change it back, if you desire. Sometimes, that works.

your email address is hidden, so the only way to contact you would be with the email link at the toolbar thingie near your name on this page, which would bring me to an email form. so the image would not show anyway.

All anyone but yourself sees is a broken image since it's on your local machine. If you don't have any webspace, use a free service like VillagePhotos to host your image. There might be a better place, but I don't know much about them as I always have had my own webspace. If you don't want to do all that, I guess you could e-mail me it.

That is exactly how my entire screen looks when trying to use the export menu in PICTURE PUBLISHER. I it should have a little thing at the bottom with three buttons that say Ok, Cancel, and something else that is unimportant. And at the top there is supposed to be a line of data of some sort and the normal toolbar that has the title and the three buttons at the top-right corner.
