    <description> &lt;p&gt;1. I&#039;m not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean like formatting telephone numbers or postal codes? If so you can use the Input Mask built into Access or you can format the input in code before you pass it to the database.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Again, I&#039;m not quite sure what you mean.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Just use the Number datatype and anything less than zero just add a (-)&lt;/p&gt;
