I liked it overall. I just wasn't sure about a few things. I don't generally like sites that look good in only one resolution. Your site looks great in 800x600 but it looks like it is cramped into a corner in higher res. I would consider keeping the same look and the same fixed width tables but extending the header and footer to fill the screen. The logo is unique and better than most. The colors while a little on the dull side are fine. A few little problems in NS like the links disappearing on rollover. Why do you have an online form and an email contact. I personally prefer forms since they don't pick up spam and you can get someone to give you the info that you need.

For me in NS4.78 it's just generally falling apart - grey area at the top, horizontal scrollbar at 800*600, menu half working but rollover messing up and the part to the left of the menu is grey & not white.

Opera6.2 no menu at all, other than that fine.

NS6.2 works but with horizontal scrollbar 800*600 and the menu once mouseovered leaves a grey block under the menu. Only one for me that has the Contact drop down under the right section.

IE5 works fine on all aspects and no scrollbar.

I think that the site needs something, but nothing flash or jazzy, just maybe another colour or somthing more on the logo part and I'm not overly keen on the dotted lines, especially where they go under the menu as they get lost and looks odd. For me as well the text looks a bit big. Nice start though

I forgot to mention before, and no one else has mentioned it, your site wouldnt benefit from some flash, work along what you have now, its only a few beta bugs.

Looks nice in IE 6.0. Do something about the horizontal scroll and add something to the top part...not sure what though.

When I mouse over the contact button in the nav the dropdown part is coming up under the porfolio and prices link. Can you fix that?

I think you should keep this and just add to it. As for the left side I think I would make it a bit smaller (less wide). You could maybe put some web design resources there or some snippits of your testimonials. Just a thought. That left side always stumps me on some sites that I do too.

I wouldn't go completely back to the drawing board. Maybe just add a bit to what you've got. It's a good base to start out with I would say. Maybe some sort of graphic effect behind the logo area???

Megan: yes it is a DHTML navbar. Can you tell exactly which browser you are viewing it in?

I think I will add some text nav underneath it so if you browser doesnt support the DHTML then you will see the normal links.

I was worried about it being too plain as well. Mmmm, I wonder whether I should go ahead and spice it up like I planned too or maybe do a redesign.

With this site I was looking for a fast loading site that msot people could view.

in IE5 the contact submenu displays between prices and porfolio

in NS4.7 there is no menu, (no errors either) no mailing list input box and default margins. (check your spelling on the margin tags - marginwidht="0") the copyright at the bottom is to small to read and doesnt align well. the section (dotted line) deviding the left and right sections is a grey line

NS6 same problems as NS4.7 and IE (margins and misalignment of navigation sections), the td section to the left of the nav section is grey, not white like in IE. also just noticed half your content is missing in NS6:

This is not bad. A little on the plain side but overall the design looks nice. I wouldn't mind seeing another colour thrown into the mix just for interest sake or maybe some more sophisticated design elements.

I'm also a little confused here because I don't see a navbar... I'm wondering if maybe it's done in dHTML which doesn't work in my browser or what. There should be a text-based alternative if that's the case. Checking in IE.... Yes, that's what you've got. I know that it is hard to find a dHTML menu that works in every browser, so maybe a set of text links at the bottom would be the best solution.

Overall the site looks good. One major thing I noticed is that you have a horizontal scroll at 800 x 600 resolution. A minor thing is that there is a huge grey area on the portfolio page. I didn't notice it on any of the other pages.
