    <description> &lt;p&gt;probably making sure that the access db&#039;s are all converted to 2000 format. Maybe the format dialogue cant open when the db is accessed outside of the program itself? Thus you get that hang time...&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Was anything upgraded on the servers? Maybe installing Access 2000 on the servers might fix the problem (it might be looking for some local file or something). Have all the databases been upgraded to Access 2000? (make a copy before you do this!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m not sure what else to suggest, make sure the database isn&#039;t locked, permissions are ok, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
