My service trades startpage hits, you set your homepage to a special url we give you and each time you open your browser, you go to another members site. You earn one credit each site you visit, and each credit is good for 1 hit back to your site.

Thats the basics, if you want to find out more about us, you can email webmaster@startup-traffic.com
I just dont want to turn this post into an advertisement for my site. Just reviews on the layout

Ummm... yeah, that logo definitely needs work. Start over. No cheesy drop shadows. You also really need to work on your colour scheme - those two blues really aren't working well together IMO. I agree about changing the font, and something needs to be done about the navbar. It's so small and boring. Also combine those three boxes there on the left into one long column - it will look less chunky.

I think that what you need to do is sit down and work out a more coherent design plan. What kind of ideas do you want to portray? How can you portray them? Either that or hire someone to do it for you.

Interesting concept here. Once again I'm going to complain about the writing style. Try to sound more professional and business like. Try to limit your use of exclamation marks.

Quote: Startup-traffic is not like any other start page service that you may have used before! For starters we offer a 1:1 ratio! That's one hit back every single time you start up your browser!

That is jsut too much - it seems like every other sentence on this page ends with one! See how annoying this is! I sound like I'm really, really, really excited about something! Somebody needs to calm down!!!

It's okay for the odd sentence here and there, just to emphasize some particularly exciting information. Be more selective about where you use those.

IE5 - I also get error

The top blue bar with home on it looks out of place and it sits right on top of the logo. The logo looks way to heavy with that drop shadow. I would maybe have the logo at the top (re-done or not) then the blue line - blue not purple to match the logo, then have a solid column of colour down the left side with all the navigation within it. I'd rethink your colour scheme as at the moment blue, purple, grey, green and red don't look good all together.

I would also change the main text font to veranda as it's more professional looking, cleaner and much easier to read on screen.

The headings you have on the main page look like they should be links where they are underlined like that, be careful of this. I would also not have the text in bold as this doesn't lend to a professional look either.

There is a horizontal scrollbar at 800*600 which appears to be because of the table being set at 787 and the margins on the page. Either use percentages & no margins or stick with a maximum table of around 750 to be sure of no scrollbars horizontally.

doesnt work in NS4.7, trys opening the below in the status window http://www.startup-traffic.com/animate.js

try using Opera6, get more javascript errors, Error:
name: ReferenceError
message: Reference to undefined variable: No such variable 'rollIn' also for 'rollOut'
these errors come up on mousing over your links

good ole frontpage huh,
language="Javascript1.2" doesnt belong in a td cell
dynamicanimation="fpAnimformatRolloverFP1" fprolloverstyle= is this realy a default FP tag? use standard tags, I dont know what your trying to do as I only get errors, but if its change td bg color its a IE only effect, if its change text (link) color, use a:hover in a style sheet (or tag)

IE5 has javascript errors as well, all 3 have a slight horz scroll bar at 800x600

OK apart from the coding problems, the layout itself (although I may not be seing it correctly) is a lil plain, the heavy drop shadow on the title banner is a lil to heavy, the links are default and light green with underline, but this could be something different. the words "password and username" are very small, only just readable
