It is a pretty potent Webserver. It seems like it offers better performance than Apache even. It is becoming more popular but Apache and IIs are hard to beat for the wealth of information out there. Apache has version 2.0 of it's web server on the horizon which will probably catch it up performance wise. You can download a copy to play with. I am not sure if they have a Windows version available though.

I've never used it, or even heard of it. I was a little wary concerning how it handled the db backend, since I wouldn't want to rely on it as my database, but it looks like it offers the ability to interface with other standard databases.

Products like this can be tricky, you might find by the time you get it working right you could have spent that time building your own solution. Its hard to say.
