The first thing that strikes me is that the graphic in the top left area seems to be bleached out to me. It's too bright and doesn't seem to relate to the one that appears to the right under the logo.

I also think that the real content is too far down the page so shorten up that bit of white space a bit there. And do something about the navbar, it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the design.

Oh, you wanted feeback on the script - can't find anything wrong... You should try to take the functionality out of the forums - have some method of declaring battles right from the site... Could be neat to have open battles that could branch off several times.

Just a quick note, you may want to provide some sort of explanation about this as an outsider like myself didn't know what "battle" referred to... you can't always assume such things.
