hehe yeah i guess you're right But i actually kind of like netscape 6, despite the bubbly kiddy look.

Hmmm... I find it closer to NS 6/mozilla if anything.... they have very similar levels of support for standards as far as I can tell, and don't include the annoying gimmicky stuff (coloured scrollbars and form elements, page transitions!) that IE has.

just for reference sake, I find Opera to be a lot closer to NS than IE.

**If you code for NS 4 or Opera today, you wont have to relearn everything tomorrow once the standards tighten up**

Yeah I used to use Opera and didn't notice a difference between IE and itself. I rather like the interface, but for forms it handles some CSS styles differently. All in all a good browser

One thing about Opera is that by default it identifies itself as MSIE 5.0. I don't know why this is - I'm guessing that it's because some sites (hotmail, for example) autmatically redirect you to a different and don't like to let you into their site if you're using a browser they dont "support" (commonly supported browsers being IE and usually some versions of NS). I've had very few problems with sites not working in Opera though.

Forgot one thing, I ran a webcam website for two years with stats tracked. Not one visitor to my site (~80 000 unique visitors) used an Opera browser. Just an interesting tid bit if you were considering design changes for that browser.

eyecandy

one thing- when you click on the navigate bar and the menu comes down, click about and read, the menu overlaps the about section making it difficult to read

I didn't read the other responses, hope this isn't a repeat

This is not quite fitting in my browser window at 800 x 600 (probably because I'm using Opera...). I'm also finding the fonts at the bottom a little hard to read - with the black text on the left it's just the font, on the right side the white on light grey is the problem.

This preloader is taking quite awhile here... at least put in something to watch or play with while it's loading.

You definitely need to have some sort of logo up there - the top part with the stripes is looking very empty and there should always be some kind of logo or identifier on every page of a site.

Otherwise it looks very good - I like the way the pages come up. You could stand to enlarge that text area on the home page - it's just a little bit cramped in there.

yeah the 277 is alot..but that is only temporary. I'm working on a way to only load about 50-100. however it doesnt seem to want to work, I think my coding is bad. I agree..popups are BAD! =)
