    <description> &lt;p&gt;Sorry for the late reply. You should be able to use the Mid() function in Access which will give you the same sort of functionality as SubString()&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mid(string,start,length)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Length is optional.&lt;/p&gt;
